Makin’ Moves celebrates its 13th Anniversary this year. Launched by Matt Langrish-Smith and Jamesey D as a new music and events company, and both top DJs in their own right have hosted around 70 events including playing at Miami’s Winter Music Conference, the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) plus regular trips to Japan and the Shapes Festival in Zante, Greece. The roll call of Guests features a diverse range of International and UK DJs and Producers including Glenn Underground, Ron Trent, Timmy Regisford, DJ Spinna, Manoo, Crackazat, Kai Alce, Jihad Muhammad, Phil Asher (RIP), Jimpster, Atjazz, Craig Smith and Live artists Leroy Burgess, Tortured Soul and Monique Bingham. 

Makin’ Moves has continually evolved as one of the leading deep house events. Alongside International events taking in New York also, they’ve hosted parties across London’s wide-ranging venues. Alongside their events, Makin’ Moves has established its own esteemed label with over 220 digital releases. Leroy has been a staple across the scene for over 15 years now playing at almost all of Londons most iconic venues for some of the best parties. The Sunday West resident will no doubt have the dancefloor vibing as usual at The Cross so we can all look forward to it.

No Artificial Colours are a dominant force in the UK's house music scene, their music consistently rode high in the Beatport Deep House charts, earning them love from their peers and the industry alike. Heerō and ÃRYA are two best friends, DJs and producers with roots in Persia, raised between Dubai and Europe, now based in London. Their sound blends deep Afro House with global influences—from Flamenco to Jazz to melodic atmospheres shaped by their journeys.

Together, they founded Cachapla—a label and creative collective built on friendship, freedom, and a shared mission to spread feel-good energy through music and art.

Jake Beautyman teams up with 3 Minds (Wiggle) to bring the underground sounds of Deep House, Tech House + plenty more, to The Cross London.

3 Minds are a trio with roots from the island of Ibiza. It is there that they nurtured a deep passion for House and Techno, experiencing the magic of what a loud system can do from an early age. Made up of brothers Joshua and Fabian Coles, with good friend Harvey Beach. They have more than earned their place as residents for the legendary underground party / label ‘Wiggle’ alongside Terry Francis.

For the 3 Mind boys, Dance Music goes beyond the dance floor—it’s a family affair. With ties to the pioneers of Tech-House, there are few who have grown up with such an intimate and inimitable understanding of what Dance Music can do. Make people move together, just like they do.

Jake Beautyman, no stranger to the scene, has been continuing to push the boundaries of Electronic Music… recently taking the sound of the London Underground over to Stockholm, Sweden, as well as playing across the UK and releasing tracks on respected labels. His latest Vinyl EP has sold out across record shops globally.

The Superfreq artists unique style seems to be “the perfect bridge between tech houses’ original grass roots... and where it is now heading in modern day times.”

Tear of Joy’ is a project born in London, created by Cristopher Michelagnoli.

The DJ, of Italian origin, started to perform at the age of 16 at rave parties, organised by his city, growing between psytrance and Techno sound. From this experience music became his real passion, which grew stronger upon discovering his uncles vinyl collection of house , Brazilian funky and acid house dance.

This rough musical education was the inspiration for the young DJ to find the type of sound that suited him stylistically as an artist.

At the age of 23 years old he decided to move in London to study music and complete his musical research.

After 3 years in London Cristopher started to play under the name “Tear of Joy“ As he evolved and played for different audiences the DJ began to understand how the emotions and listeners experience are linked to the concept presented in the music.

The strongest and most intense emotions are those that fall on the face as a ‘Tear of Joy

On Saturday 15th June, The owners Billy and Gemma Reilly will cycle from London to Brighton in honour of their dear friend — and beloved Cross regular — Lee Hudson, who is courageously battling stage 4 cancer. We’ve already seen incredible generosity. But the fight isn’t over, and now we invite you to come together for something truly special - The Cross After-Party: Saturday 21st June 2025. We're throwing a night to remember, with every penny raised going directly to Lee’s life-saving treatments.

Featuring a Live Performance and DJ set by the iconic Sonique Dance music royalty and original The Cross icon, Sonique, will take to the decks and the mic with a powerful live set. French Mama returns to The Cross for an unmissable night of funky beats to get you ready for the summer season. Expect classic tracks and club anthems impossible to sit down to with a unique French twist for added fizz!

French Mama started in 2017 hosting parties at Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden and has grown to play sell out events at POP Brixton for over 1000 revellers. French Mama originated in London’s French community with the desire to come together and party with likeminded people and has since attracted a much wider fan base.

French Mama aka Laurent Barbier is a hugely experienced Parisian DJ having played at Les Bains Douches, Le Palace, Le Queen, La Scala, La Coupole et al as well as DJing at private parties for Kylie Minogue and Coldplay. He brings his high energy, hands-in-the-air tracks to this legendary venue for a good time - guaranteed!
