Boasting excellent transport connectivity throughout London, the UK, and Europe, thanks to its proximity to King’s Cross and St Pancras, The Cross is the perfect destination to host a diverse range of functions, from grand corporate gatherings, wedding celebrations and intimate social occasions.

 From Sunday to Thursday, our house is your house, from one room to the whole place, we can tailor a space to suit you. Unencumbered by ‘bar’ and ‘restaurant’ labels, these spaces really can be whatever you want them to be. 

Choose a floor and we’ll tailor it to your requirements. It’s a good-looking building (which is why we host so many shoots here) and our events team can style the space, large or small, that works for you.

This location and flexibility make us the ideal destination for hosting private gatherings of all sizes, day or night: whether it’s a 50-seated private dinner, a larger-than-life 500-person celebration, or any number of informal corporate events, our team will curate an evening (or afternoon) tailored to your needs.

THE ROOF TERRACE

Available for exclusive hire.
This private oasis in King’s Cross commands a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of London’s iconic skyline – the perfect backdrop for corporate parties, company offsites, wedding receptions, product launches and more. 

The Roof Terrace comes equipped with a private bar and an extensive selection of drinks. The Cross can also rustle up some bespoke cocktails: the perfect accompaniment for those sparkling city views.

A wide variety of food is also available as part of our private venue hire, including party food, bowls and some truly winning canapés (please let us know about any dietary requirements). 

The Roof Terrace has state-of-the-art speakers too, allowing you to personally soundtrack your event by piping your favourite music, whether it’s Balearic beats, Brazilian bossa nova or British breakbeat.

The Roof Terrace isn’t just for balmy summer evenings: this stunning space is in demand all year-round, including alfresco winter parties (yes, they are a thing), spring soirées and beyond. 

There’s room for 70 people at the Roof Terrace, but if you want to invite more guests, then consider also hiring one (or more) of the venues/floors below: The Red Room, The Barn, Ground Floor or even our basement The Club.

THE RED ROOM

Available for exclusive hire.
Now accepting reservations for exclusive private venue hire, the third-floor Red Room offers one of the most sumptuous spaces in King’s Cross for private events, including evening parties, receptions, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.

 Like stepping inside a Parisian boudoir, this rouge chamber can add a sprinkling of decadent belle epoque glam to any photoshoot too. 

 Whether you’re here to use its décor as a backdrop for your photos or attend an event, the Red Room’s chic look will soon have you craving a sophisticated cocktail, something The Cross can provide through our bespoke libations or by getting our celebrated mixologists to host a cocktails masterclass. Food is also available, whether it’s bite-sized canapés or a memorable sit-down meal for up to 15 people. 

The Red Room can also host a live band and DJs too. And don’t forget: you can elevate your event (literally) by also hiring out our Roof Terrace alongside the Red Room, or combine it with the privately hiring any of our other floors.

THE BARN

Available for Intimate Dining/Events/Special Occasions.
The Barn’s rustic ambience – all wooden panelling, pastel tones and timber floors – exudes a warmth and friendliness that truly shines when hired for private events. 

This second-floor space can lend a barn-style atmosphere to urban weddings (something that’s hard-to-find in London), a convivial vibe for birthday parties and an intimate atmosphere for private lunches and dinners (note: it’s perfect for corporate breakfasts too). 

Suffused with natural, airy light, The Barn makes a great location for away-days, conferences and presentations too (there’s also a 62-inch screen for presentations). And then, when the lights go down, The Barn develops a hygge-like cosiness – the perfect setting for close-knit gatherings, such as private dinners and book launches.  

Food and drink is available, including The Cross’s bespoke menus and cocktails.

The Cross Kings Cross Lounge Bar

PRIVATE DINING / COCKTAIL LOUNGE

Available for all dining events.
Our Wild restaurant exudes a delightful Mediterranean vibe, adorned with floor-to-ceiling French windows that bathe the room in natural light, amid a soft palette of terracotta, dusky pastel pinks, and mink browns, creating a serene dining experience.

This first-floor restaurant space offers private dining for up to 55 guests or 100 people standing. We can configure the design of the room and remove tables and chairs so that it provides the perfect, bespoke space for your party. The Cross can also tailor menus and cocktails to your event or dietary requirements too. 

For an evening to remember, why not consider hiring another Cross venue (such as The Club or The Barn) after your private dining meal and let your celebrations continue into the small hours?

GROUND FLOOR

Available for Product Launches/Drinks Receptions/Photoshoots.
The ground floor at The Cross is ideal for all private venue hire events, from cocktail parties and receptions to sit-down lunches and dinners. Our horseshoe bar provides a sublime ambience to unwind in the comfort of leather lounge chairs, while the space can also be given over to a restaurant layout, exuding a delightful Mediterranean vibe, adorned with floor-to-ceiling period windows that bathe the room in natural light. 

The chilled decor – think Italian vintage meets industrial edge – creates a chilled backdrop for your party. And that’s just two ways of laying it out. You can feast on light bites over candlelight or gather a few friends together for some carefully mixed cocktails – or both. We can also provide a bespoke food menu or cocktails for your private event too. You may also wish to hire another The Cross floor such as The Club or The Barn to make the occasion a truly exceptional one.

THE CLUB

Available for Showcases/Album Launches/Lives Acts.
Nestled deep in The Cross’s basement, The Club is an industrial and stylish space, perfect for legendary late nights and mischievous merrymaking. 

Equipped with stellar sonic hardware (see below), The Club excels at live music, whether it’s singers/bands (The Cross is a perennial favourite for album launches and artist showcases) or DJs for a private club night (The Cross has a glittering black book of DJ names if you’re seeking turntablist inspiration). The lighting can rival that of any small gig venue too. 

To make sure your private function has everything it needs, The Club can also offer a waiter/waitress service. 

To ensure your celebration lasts even longer, why not consider hiring another The Cross venue, such as a private dining meal in our restaurant or cocktails in the Red Room.
